Boys Youth Program

Description
Eastlake Lacrosse is a part of the Greater Eastside Lacrosse League, which is the most competitive youth lacrosse league in Washington competing against other programs in our area. Our 78 Cardinal Team regularly competes for the GELL Championship. Eastlake fields teams at 4 age divisions (K-2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8). The number of teams at each age group depends on participants. We commonly field 2 teams at each age group, and plan to do that again this season. For K-2 and 3/4  we split the teams evenly based on school attendance. For 5/6 we are evaluating if we want to split evenly or into Cardinal (A Team) and Black (B Team), which was done by 6 programs last year in our league. When this happens our league matches A & B teams with other programs doing the same first, and then games are filled in with evenly mixed teams. For 7/8 we split into Cardinal (A Team) and Black (B Team) matching our leagues requirements for programs with 2 7/8 teams.

At Eastlake Lacrosse we pride ourselves on developing our players as young men first through the context of sports. While also giving them the opportunity to compete at the highest level of lacrosse in Washington. We have a fantastic coaching staff lead by Jason Montoya our Program Director and Varsity Head Coach. Jason has coached High School Lacrosse for over a decade after playing Division 1 at Lafayette College. Beyond Jason we have some fantastic returning coaches including players who have come back to coach with us and parent volunteers. If you are interested in coaching please reach out to jason.montoya@eastlakelacrosse.org.
